Moores is thrilled to have been awarded FSC Chain of Custody certification, which means our certified wood comes from responsibly managed sources.

FSC is an internationally recognised, not-for-profit organisation that promotes the responsible management of the world's forests. FSC Chain of Custody certification provides a guarantee about the production of FSC certified products. It covers the path taken by raw materials from forest to the customer, including all the successive stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing and distribution. Knowing that the certified timber we use has been approved by the FSC reassures us that we're being good to wood!

Following our FSC certification,we have pledged that Moores shall not knowingly use:

• Wood harvested from forest areas where traditional or civil rights have been violated
• Wood harvested from non-FSC certified forest areas having high conservation values, which are threatened
• Wood harvested from genetically modified (GM) trees
• Illegally harvested wood
• Natural forest that has been converted to plantations or non-forest use
